Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa were questioned by the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) yesterday after they were summoned to record statements over various allegations.
Police said the former Defence Secretary was summoned in connection with a financial transaction of Rs. 90 million which had taken place when constructing the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum in Medamulana.
MP Rajapaksa was summoned with regard to a case involving the Hi-Corp Company.
