Former Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera questioned over MiG aircraft transaction

The Financial Fraud Investigation Division yesterday recorded a statement from former Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera over the MiG aircraft transaction.
The Police Financial Fraud Investigation Division recently commenced a fresh probe into alleged financial misappropriation that had been committed in the purchase of four MiG airplanes from Ukraine in 2006. Police also recently recorded a statement from former Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke.
Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera was Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force from 2002 to 2006 and Chief of the Defence Staff from 2006 to 2009.
