Foreign assistance has been recommended in the investigations into the murder of former national rugger player Wasim Thajudeen.
The Colombo University School of Computing informed the Colombo Additional Magistrate yesterday that it was unable to identify the plate number of the vehicle seen at the site of the killing or those inside the vehicle using Close Circuit Television (CCTV) footage.
As a result the Colombo University has recommended that foreign assistance be obtained to examine the CCTV footage of the crime and identify the vehicle number plate. (Colombo Gazette)
