Family ‘shocked’ as Court bails 4 men accused of Khuram Shaikh’s murder

ITV: The family of Khuram Shaikh, who was killed while on holiday in Sri Lanka, say they are shocked by the decision to bail four men accused of his murder – halfway through their trial.
The 32-year-old from Rochdale was on holiday on Christmas Day in 2011 when he was stabbed and shot at his hotel. The trial into his murder, which has taken more than two years to come to Court amid fears of a cover-up, began at the High Court in Colombo last month.
But the trial has since been adjourned for several weeks, and four of the six men accused have been released on bail.
