Dr. Senthilverl ups SMB Leasing stake to 10%

High net worth individual investor Dr. T. Senthilverl has increased his stake in SMB Leasing Plc to 10%, amounting to 85.57 million shares.

The stake included purchases made on Thursday when 53.4 million shares of SMB Leasing traded between a high of Rs. 1.60 and a low of Rs. 1.30 before closing at Rs. 1.40, up by 14%.

Also on Thursday Dr. Senthilverl bought an 11% stake amounting to 11.9 million in debutant Hydro Power Free Lanka Ltd., at Rs. 15.50 each in a deal worth Rs. 177.3 million.
