Daya Gamage meets gem businessmen

Primary Industries Minister Daya Gamage met with National Gem and Jewellery Authority Chairman Asanka Welagedara and gem businessmen at the Ministry Auditorium at Battaramulla on 9 March. Their meeting focused on discussing strategies to uplift the gem and jewellery industry to a $ 2.5 billion export revenue earner by 2020. The Ministry will implement a programme to drive the gem businessmen towards achieving that target.
