BOI to celebrate 2600th Sambuddathva Jayanthi at Katunayake Zone from today

Staff of the Zonal Office of the BOI at Katunayake Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in collaboration with the BOI Enterprises has organised a series of religious events to commemorate the 2600th Sambuddhathva Jayanthi.

The programme will commence with a Dhamma Sermon to be delivered by Ven. Dr. Teripehe Siridhamma (M.A.) of the historic Keragala Maha Pirivena from 4 p.m. on Monday, 16 May 2011 at the BOI office premises at Katunayake.

There will also be a Vesak lantern exhibition & display from 17 - 19 May 2011 and a Buddhist devotional song competition presented by the employees of the BOI factories at the KEPZ, commencing 7 p.m. on 17 May 2011.
