Baur Foundation members visit Baurs, reaffirm commitment

President Olivier Dunant and the Members of the Council of the Foundation Alfred & Eugénie Baur, Stéphanie La Roche, Philippe Ilg and Sébastien Demole, visited Baurs and looked at the progress of the expansion plans in infrastructure and business lines.

Chairman Thomas F. Daetwyler, Managing Director/CEO Lakshman Niyangoda and the Board of Directors explained to them the different new activities and the progress of the Jean Ilg building.

Dunant, President of the Council of the Foundation, in his speech to the Board of Directors reassured the commitment of the foundation to the investment and to the country Sri Lanka where Alfred Baur started his business in 1897.

Baurs is today the oldest Swiss investment in Sri Lanka.
