Bakeer Markar commemorative lecture today

The Bakeer Markar Centre for National Unity will hold the 15th commemorative lecture of former speaker Bakeer Markar today (10 September) at 5 p.m. at the Sri Samuddhathwa Jayanthi Auditorium, Thunmulla, Colombo 5.

The lecture will be on ‘Arab Awakening – Birth of a New Political Paradigm’ by Wadah Khanfar, former Director General of Al Jazeera Network.
