Ayurveda students have threatened to commence an agitation campaign seeking solutions to the issues faced by the sector.
Hundreds of Ayurveda students yesterday took to the streets outside the Rajagiriya Ayurveda Hospital calling on the authorities to address some of their long standing issues.
They said the Ayurveda Hospital faces a severe shortage of medicine inconveniencing the patients.
“Authorities need to also take measures to open the surgical unit of the hospital, which could greatly benefit the patients,” the protesting students said.
However, they said the first step authorities needed to take was to put in place a proper, strong administration system at the Ayurveda Hospital.
