Zam Zam Foundation launches ‘School with a Smile 2023’

Zam Zam Foundation’s annual ‘School with a Smile’ program for 2023 was officially launched recently at the Bandaranaike International Memorial Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

The program has so far supported 87,000 students from needy families across Sri Lanka to continue their education without any hindrance due to poverty or other similar factors.

The inauguration was graced by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardana, as the Chief Guest of the event. Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabri, State Minister of Rural Economy Kader Masthan, Prof. Ranjith Bandara MP, Dullas Alahapperuma MP, diplomats, officials, community leaders, multi religious leaders, well-wishers and school students also participated.

The Prime Minister commended the work of the organisation stating that the services carried out are exemplary and thanked them on behalf of the Government.
