YMCA Moratuwa commemorates Children’s Day

YMCA Moratuwa celebrated World Children’s Day on 1 October with the participation of over 50 children. The program was organised to cater to children coming from less-privileged communities from the Moratuwa area. Special emphasis was laid on child protection awareness and the program was conducted by Moratuwa Divisional Secretariat Office Counselling Officer Nandani Jayawardane. In addition, children participated in many activities including singing, dancing, etc. The children had a wonderful evening and received gifts from distinguished guests.
