The Pathfinder Foundation (PF), Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) and National University of Singapore (NUS) have scheduled a webinar on Monday 28 September from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Sri Lanka’s foreign policy imperatives under the Rajapaksa administration.
The event will be about the newly-elected Gotabaya Rajapaksa Government’s foreign policy which appears to have several important dimensions. Sri Lanka will maintain friendly relations with all states and will collaborate with any state keen on working with it. It hopes to leverage on its strategic location to meet its geopolitical, strategic and economic needs, and become a maritime hub of the region.
NUS Institute of South Asian Studies Director Professor C. Raja Mohan and Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Foreign Secretary Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage will share their perspectives at the session.
