Delhi over the visit of newly-elected Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Indian media reported.

He was detained along with a group of protestors, Indian media said, quoting a senior police officer.

Rajya Sabha MP Vaiko told the protesters that Tamils in Sri Lanka are being ill-treated and condemned the Indian government’s decision to invite the Sri Lankan President on a State visit.
