US Ambassador calls on Speaker

US Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Maldives Alaina Teplitz paid a courtesy call on Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena at the Speaker’s office in Parliament this week. The Ambassador was accompanied by USAID Mission Director Reed Aeschliman and Political Officer Geoffrey Chanin of the Embassy. 

Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake was also present at the meeting.
