The Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA), in collaboration with ACTED will be presenting the final survey findings of the Electronic Citizens Report Card (e-CRC) on the delivery of secondary education services and public services by Pradeshiya Sabhas of Mullativu, Batticaloa and Monaragala Districts.
The event will be held today, 22 January, at the Jasmine Hall, BMICH, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The survey was carried out under the European Union funded project: ‘Co-creating social development and good governance: fostering cooperation between Civil Service Organisations (CSO) and government authorities for better social services’. This aimed to enhance the capacity of CSOs in cooperation with government authorities to promote better access to and quality of services, while ensuring the accountability of service providers.
This event is the culmination of the two-year research activity conducted by CEPA in collaboration with ACTED. Prior to this, regional findings of the eCRC was presented local government officials, zonal educational directors, secretaries and community members on a district basis.
