Sri Lanka participates in 12th Bali Democracy Forum

The 12th Bali Democracy Forum took place in Bali, Indonesia from 5-6 December.

The BDF was established in 2008 to create a progressive democratic architecture in the Asia-Pacific region. Sri Lanka is one of 45 participating countries. There were 49 Observers this year and seven international organisations.

Sri Lanka was represented by Ambassador to Indonesia and ASEAN Yasoja Gunasekera.

A Youth Forum was held as part of the BDF. Software engineer Pramodya Abeysinghe represented Sri Lanka at this Forum.
