cooperation between the two countries, including realisation of Free and Open Indo-Pacific. He will also participate in the closing ceremony of Oil Recovery Training by Japan Coast Guard and Sri Lanka Coast Guard to be held on the same day at the Colombo Port. In addition, during his stay, Sonoura will attend the Japan - Sri Lanka Navy to Navy Staff Talks to be held for the first time. The Embassy of Japan expects that this visit would help further consolidate the “Comprehensive Partnership” between Japan and Sri Lanka.
