Shaad, an Iranian who has been traveling all over the world on his wheelchair, yesterday staged a protest outside Iran Embassy in Colombo in solidarity with 22-year-old young Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini who died on 16 September after her arrest by the morality police in Tehran for reportedly failing to observe the Islamic republic’s strict dress code for women.
