Several areas in the island were isolated in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in these areas, including the Dambulla Economic Centre, which will remain closed for two weeks.

In the Gampaha District, the Polhena, Heeralugedara and Kaluaggala Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Kotadeniyawa Police Division and the Aswennawatta East Grama Niladhari Division in the Minuwangoda Police Division are under isolation.

The Miriswatte, Pelawatte North and Pelawatte East Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Meegahatenna Police Division in the Kalutara District have been isolated.

Isolation has also been imposed in the TheImbulgoda and Katudampe Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Rathgama Police Division in the Galle District and the Poompuhar Grama Niladhari Division in the Trincomalee Police Division.
