Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday in Parliament referred to hostilities by Israel against Palestinians as genocide.
He made this allegation during a speech in Parliament.
Separately, former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga in a statement condemned the indiscriminate attacks on Gaza strip. She also shared a photo of her meeting with late Palestine leader Yaser Arafat taken in Sri Lanka the latter’s visit in 1998.
