Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) yesterday announced their plans to hold this year’s May Day rally in Gampaha district, a strong hold of the party, MP Nimal Siripala de Silva said. 

The rally is scheduled to be held under the theme of ‘Daya Rakina Aragalaya Wadabimen’, and the Party expects to launch its campaign with the aim of defeating the United National Party at the May Day rally, he said.
