Ravi Jayawardena assume duties as Secretary to Opposition Leader

Attorney-at-Law Ravi Jayawardena yesterday assumed duties as the Secretary to the Opposition Leader, Sajith Premadasa.

Jayawardena took the post on a recommendation made by Premadasa following the retirement of incumbent Naufal Rahuman.

Jayawardena has previously held leadership roles in several State institutions. He has held the posts of Chairman Rupavahini Corporation and Vocational Training Institute, and was once the Commissioner General of the Prisons Department.
