President Rajapaksa appoints new Governors

Newly-appointed North-Western Province Governor A.J.M. Muzammil

Newly-appointed Sabaragamuwa Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekoduwa

Newly-appointed Southern Province Governor Prof. William Wijesinghe Gamage

Newly-appointed Uva Province Governor Raja Kollure

Newly-appointed Western Province Governor Dr. Seetha Arambepola

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday appointed Governors to six of the nine provinces.

Consequently, the six Governors took oaths before President Rajapaksa yesterday morning.

Lalitha U Gamage was sworn in as the Governor for the Central Province, while A.J. M Muzammil was appointed as the Governor of the North-Western Province. Raja Kollure was sworn in as the Governor of the Uva Province, while W. Wijesinghe Gamage was appointed to the Southern Province.

Tikiri Kobbekaduwa was sworn in as Governor of Sabaragamuwa Province, while Seetha Arambepola was appointed as Governor of Western Province.
