Funds amounting to $ 100,000 and a first salary of $ 1,667 committed by Rajco Industries for the next 10 years, announced by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, have been transferred to the account of Priyantha Kumara’s widow. Kumara was killed in a mob attack in Pakistan last December.
The details of the bank transfers along with the documents were released on the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan PM’s Thakreek-e-Insaf party.
Kumara, 48, who was a factory manager in the city of Sialkot, was beaten to death on 6 December after some workers had accused him of blasphemy.
