The Prime Minister has also instructed the reinstallation of all the damaged road sings. Police have also been asked to take into custody those involved in vandalising the street signs. Several Tamil name boards have been damaged or removed in areas such as Panadura and Kerawalapitiya after the Presidential election.
Some of the damaged ones had been redone and put up by last evening after they were highlighted on social media.
