Over 180,000 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19 as of Saturday, the Chief Epidemiologist revealed.
He said that since the exercise began on 29 January, 186,654 people have been vaccinated.
Last month, Sri Lanka received 500,000 doses of the made-in-India COVISHIELD vaccines.
The Oxford-Astrazeneca COVISHIELD vaccine is manufactured by Serum Institute of India. This has been approved for emergency use by the Government.
