Minister Amunugama promotes greater ties with Australia

A meeting between Special Assignments Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama and High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka Bryce Hutcheson took place at the Special Assignments Ministry office at Sethsiripaya this week. At this meeting an exchange of views took place centred round the long standing friendship between Sri Lanka and Australia. The economic and political relations of the two countries were also discussed. The Minister explained in detail the investment opportunities in Sri Lanka and its development projects. The Minister also explained to the High Commissioner, Sri Lanka’s commitment to democracy. Seen here is the meeting in progress.
