Former National Security Advisor and Foreign Secretary of India Shivshankar Menon is in Colombo to chair the Pathfinder Foundation’s International Advisory Group for the Foundation’s conference on Security and Governance in the Indian Ocean. The International Advisory Group comprises of representatives from leading think-tanks from Australia, China, India, France, Japan, Norway, Russia, Singapore, UK, and USA. The meeting will convene in Colombo this week. After arriving in Colombo, Menon met for preliminary discussions with the Founder of Pathfinder Foundation, Milinda Moragoda, Chairman Bernard Goonetilleke, China Studies Centre Executive Director/Director Luxman Siriwardena, and Director of the Centre for Indo-Lanka Initiatives/Law of the Sea Centre Admiral Jayanath Colombage
