Mallimaratchi presents credentials to Zimbabwean President

Sri Lanka envoy to the Republic of South Africa, accredited to the Republic of Zimbabwe, Kumar Mallimaratchi, presented his Letters of Credence as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Zimbabwe to President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangawa at a ceremony held on 30 October in Harare.

President Mnangawa warmly welcomed Ambassador Mallimaratchi and wished him success in his assignment. Ambassador Mallimaratchi extended the warmest greetings from President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena to the President of Zimbabwe.

Ambassador Mallimaratchi met Zimbabwean Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Dr. Sibusiso B. Moyo, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Chief of the Protocol during his visit. He also met Sri Lankans living in the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Ambassador Mallimaratchi was accompanied by Udeni Mallimaratchi on his visit to Zimbabwe.
