Mahinda meets sheikhs gathered for Intl. Meelad-un-Nabi celebrations

The international Meelad-un-Nabi celebration was held on Saturday at the BMICH. Participating as special spiritual speakers were Ash Sheikh Afifudeen Moulana Jeelani from Malaysia, Ash Sheikh Aslam from Britain, Ash Sheikh AbdulAziz from Scotland, Ash Sheikh Rilwan from Egypt, and other international spiritual leaders. They called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on Friday (10 January) ahead of the celebration.
