KKS Port development by Indian funding

In yesterday’s Daily FT story titled ‘Plans ports upgrade countrywide,’ we had inadvertently mentioned that KKS would be developed by Singapore’s Surbana Jurong. This is incorrect. The Ministry of Ports and Shipping stated that KKS is totally done with the assistance of the Indian Government Credit line. Surbana Jurong will be involved in the development of a master plan for Trincomalee Port.
