The Joint Opposition (JO) yesterday said it would decide on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe following a meeting today.
“The Joint Opposition Parliamentary Group will have a meeting on Monday (today) and following that we will decide on the date to hand over the no-confidence motion to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya,” JO Parliamentary Group Leader Dinesh Gunawardena told the Daily FT.
However, JO member Wimal Weerawansa had said that the JO would present the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister tomorrow.
