The Joint Opposition (JO) yesterday said it would decide on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe when the group meets today (6 March).
“The Joint Opposition Parliamentary Group will have a meet to decide on the matter and release a statement on the decision on Tuesday [today],” JO Parliamentary Group Leader Dinesh Gunawardena told the Daily FT.
The meeting scheduled for today will decide on the date to hand over the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Gunawardena said. The group earlier said that they will present the no-confidence motion today in Parliament.
