Health officials confirm one COVID-19 death

One COVID-19 death was confirmed on Tuesday, with a total of 16,507 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed to date.

Tuesday’s COVID-19 death was from the 30 to 59 age group, which accounts for 22.4% of the total COVID-19 deaths. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.29% of the total deaths are over 60 years and 1.31% of the total deaths are below 30 years.

A total of 9,318 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,189 are female. The COVID-19 fatality confirmed on Tuesday was male.
