Twenty-one COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed by health officials on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,505.
16 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed yesterday were over 60 years and five COVID-19 fatalities were between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Monday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.52% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.31% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.17% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Of the total fatalities, 8,126 are male and 6,379 are female. Eleven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and ten were female.
