GR signs nominations

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday signed his nominations at his residence in Mirihana.

Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, his elder brother Chamal Rajapaksa, and a host of other supporters were was also present. 

Rajapaksa also received blessings from Buddhist monks before signing his nominations.

SLPP made the cash deposit on 20 September at the Election Commission.
