Two bowsers were symbolically presented

The government of China has donated 90 water bowsers to Sri Lanka worth over Rs one billion, under the China Aid Project, President’s Media Division said.

Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan ceremoniously handed over the keys to the vehicles and the registration documents to President Maithripala Sirisena Wednesday at the Presidential Secretariat. Two water bowsers were presented symbolically at this event.

The President handed over the documents to the Secretary, Ministry of Disaster Management.

Secretary to the President Mr. Udaya R. Seneviratne and senior officials of the Chinese Embassy also participated in the event.
