COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 61,362 persons on Thursday and 74.12% of the country’s population has received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Our World in Data shows that second dose coverage in the country is 63.98% of the country’s population.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 15,935,634 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,756,417 persons have received the second dose.
The third or booster dose has been administered to 796,207 persons. This includes 57,632 persons vaccinated on Thursday.
On Thursday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 773 persons and 511 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,544,588 persons and the second dose has been administered to 461,923 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,947,504 persons and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 10,937,280 persons. On Thursday, 566 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 1,874 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. Six persons received the second dose of Moderna on Thursday, raising the number of persons to have received the second dose of the vaccine to 782,809. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
