The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) yesterday instructed Litro and LAUGFS Gas to accept, from customers, partly used LPG cylinders that are suspected of being faulty.
In the event such cylinders are returned, the CAA has instructed companies to weigh and value the remaining gas and be deducted if the customer chooses to purchase a new cylinder.
The CAA also called on the public to inform via its hotline – 1977, if the LPG distributor or agent refuses to accept such cylinders.
