AG concludes action in over 15,000 criminal cases in 11 months

Many cases of child abuse among them

The Attorney General’s Department has concluded action in 15,000 criminal cases within the first 11 months of this year, an official of the Department said.

The AG has also forwarded 9,000 indictments to the high courts, the official said. These include many child abuses cases that have been pending for many years.

This is an all-time record for the department in connection with concluding cases.
