Health officials on Sunday confirmed 93 COVID-19 deaths, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 12,218.
Forty-eight deaths confirmed on Sunday were female and 45 were male. The country’s COVID-19 death toll consists of 6,837 fatalities that are male and 5,381 fatalities that are female.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.43% of the total fatalities are over the age of 60, 22.4% belongs to the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.17% is below the age of 30.
On Sunday, health officials confirmed the deaths of 68 persons over the age of 60, 24 persons aged between 30 and 59, and one person below the age of 30.
