COVID-19 vaccination numbers were low on Sunday, with only 8,103 persons receiving a COVID-19 vaccine dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 4,933 persons received the booster dose on Sunday, for which the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being used. In total, the booster dose has been administered to 7,570,290 persons.
The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,952,784 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,262,840 persons.
Our World in Data states that 78.86% of the population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 66.33% has received the second dose as well.
On Sunday, 357 persons received the first dose of Pfizer and 2,362 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 2,480,348 persons and the second dose has been administered to 790,310 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 122 persons on Sunday, raising the total number of persons to have received the first dose of the vaccine to 12,028,894. The second dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,110,764 persons. This includes 329 persons vaccinated on Sunday.
A total of 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose as well.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
