73,559 more persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 73,559 persons on Tuesday and 92.2% of the country’s population over the age of 20 had received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine as of Monday.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 15,671,510 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,501,175 persons.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being currently administered as a third or booster dose as well, with 9,107 persons having received the booster dose. This includes 6,320 persons who received the Pfizer vaccine as a third dose on Tuesday.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 42,983 persons on Tuesday and the second dose was administered to 985 persons. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,323,984 persons and the second dose to 441,913 persons.

The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,905,687 persons and the second dose has been administered to 10,714,780 persons. On Tuesday, 2,603 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 16,469 persons received the second dose of Sinopharm.

The second dose of AstraZeneca was administered to 4,183 persons on Tuesday, raising the total number of persons to have received the second dose of AstraZeneca to 1,406,366. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 1,479,631 persons.

Sixteen persons received the second dose of Moderna on Tuesday and 782,351 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine to date. The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,098 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,765 persons have received the second dose as well.
