59th Installation and Dinner Theatre of Rotary Club Colombo West

Board of Directors and Advisors 2019/20 

The Annual President’s Installation Night of the Rotary Club of Colombo West took place on Saturday, 29 June at the Hilton Colombo. The Club together with its members ceremoniously elected a new Board of Directors along with the Club’s 59th President Pravir Samarasinghe for the upcoming year 2019/20.

Over 300 Rotarians and invitees were at this year’s installation; a dinner theatre with a sit-down dinner along with popular ‘On Broadway’ musicals performed by the talented Workshop Players with Jerome L. de Silva presiding over the overall direction.

Rotary which commenced in 1905, is a worldwide organisation whose membership now exceeds 1.25 million in over 200 countries with the motto of ‘Service above self’, and in Sri Lanka itself, has more than 1,400 Rotarians in 70 Rotary Clubs. The Rotary Club of Colombo West, one of the largest clubs in Sri Lanka, with 90 members is actively involved in community service projects across the country.
