COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 5,424 persons on Tuesday and the Epidemiology Unit states that first dose coverage among the total population has risen to 77.59%.
Second dose coverage in the country is 65.77% and third dose coverage is 35.87%. Among the population over 20 years, 96.2% has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 53.81% has received the third dose.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 96.3% of the population over 12 years has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 81.7% has received the second dose as well.
COVID-19 vaccination coverage is 80.2% among those aged 16 to 19 years.
A total of 17,008,012 persons have received the first dose of a COVD-19 vaccine and 14,417,479 persons have received the second dose.
The third or booster dose has been administered to 7,867,739 persons. This includes 3,889 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 436 persons and the second dose was administered to 843 persons. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 2,516,417 persons and the second dose has been administered to 881,403 persons.
The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 16 persons on Tuesday and a total of 12,048,053 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm. The second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 11,174,310 persons. This includes 240 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
