COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 42,639 persons on Sunday with 57.5% of the country’s total population now having received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Our World in Data adds that 68.38% of the total population has received the first dose. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 84.8% of the country’s population over the age of 20 have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
At present, the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are being administered in the country and 14,703,606 persons have received the first dose while 12,398,451 persons have received the second dose as well.
On Sunday, 4,621 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 24,309 persons received the second dose. In total, the first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,787,846 persons and the second dose to 9,774,101 persons.
The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,445 persons, of which 1,305,895 persons have received the second dose as well. Twenty-seven persons received the first dose of AstraZeneca on Sunday, and 4,115 persons received the second dose.
The first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was administered to 359 persons on Sunday and the second dose was administered to 9,073 persons. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 474,167 persons and the second dose to 401,249 persons.
The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 803,053 persons and the second dose to 761,654 persons. On Sunday, 135 persons received the second dose of Moderna.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 159,095 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,552 persons have received the second dose.
