37 COVID-19 deaths raise fatalities to 3,611

Thirty-seven COVID-19 deaths were confirmed on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 3,611.

Of the deaths confirmed by the Director General of Health Services on Tuesday, 19 persons were female and 18 persons were male. In total, 2,102 COVID-19 fatalities are male and 1,509 COVID-19 fatalities are female.

According to the Department of Government Information, 30 deaths confirmed on Tuesday were above the age of 60 and the remaining seven deaths were between ages 30 and 59.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 75.07% of all COVID-19 fatalities in the country are in the above 60 age category, while 23.59% are between ages 30 and 59 and 1.34% are below the age of 30.
