Health officials confirmed 31 COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,754.
Twenty-six COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were over 60 years and five were between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Thursday. The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.23% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.48% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.29% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Eighteen COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and 13 were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,868 are male and 6,886 are female.
