Health officials confirmed 23 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,205.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include 18 persons over 60 years of age and four persons between 30 and 59 years. One COVID-19 death was confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.53% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.29% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% of the fatalities are below 30 years.
Of the COVID-19 fatalities, 7,944 are male and 6,261 are female. Twelve COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were female and 11 were male.
